Life in Balance Now is the culmination of over thirty years of experience in the lifestyle management; design, retail, legal and financial fields. With the combination of these disciplines the team at Life in Balance Now can provide you with the knowledge and expertise to complete the task at hand.
My interest in space, layout, form, function, color, texture and organization comes directly from life experience.
At an early age, I trained at the School of American Ballet where the combination of movement and music was the beginning of my appreciation of FLOW. I graduated from NYU in 1991 and immediately immersed myself in the retail industry, where I found myself consistently drawn to the VISUAL aspects of the job – making the most AESTHETIC use of space in the “showroom” balanced by making the most EFFICIENT use of space in the “stockroom.”
I started practicing yoga upon the recommendation of a retail client and when I aligned and organized my body the impact was immediate and dramatic. After completing my teacher training at Yoga Zone in NYC, I left the retail industry in 2000 to pursue teaching yoga full time. The space I occupied, the alignment/organization of my body, the texture/flow of my breath, all was in BALANCE.
The space we occupy in our homes both reflect and have a direct impact on the space we occupy within our selves. At Life in Balance Now, it is my intention to guide people to find more balance in their lives through re-organizing, de-cluttering and re-purposing their living spaces; to optimize flow and function; and to empower choice – there are many paths to balance and harmony. My approach is practical, methodical and focused on results.
In 1995, I was admitted to the New York State Bar. Following my admission to the Bar I worked at various firms on Wall Street learning the equity markets. After that I spent a number of years helping clients raise capital for companies both private and public. For the last five years I have been practicing law as a family wealth attorney.
Over time, I began to counsel friends and family who were navigating personal legal issues. I discovered that life brought every family their share of legal questions, ranging from estate planning, guardianship for their minor children, finances and issues related to aging parents.
To help families address these issues I focus my business on three main areas. The first is Estate Planning. The second is counseling families on the types of investment accounts that they should consider participating in. And finally giving families that have various financial accounts a second look and offering them an unbiased viewpoint of what they own and the fees they pay.
I have spent many years learning about all the different types of investment accounts that people need in various stages of their lives. Whether it is for retirement, saving for college, showing your kids how to begin investing, or what to do if you are self employed. While it is important to learn how to build wealth it is also important to protect and distribute this wealth eventually. I am honored to help you make the best decisions.
